Prevoz is receiving a major content update that will enable the long-awaited option to add precise locations. The change affects both drivers and passengers.
Drivers, you will now be able to enter a precise location when adding a ride, which passengers can then navigate to and wait for you there without any additional communication. At the same time, we are introducing a stop, which allows you to select a single stop. The stop does not require any extra “camel tokens”, but it is highly recommended that the stop lies along the route to the final destination. In the case of a stop, you enter the price from the start to the stop and from the stop to the destination; when passengers search for a ride from start to destination, the entered prices will be added together. After entering the ride, you will also be able to check the estimated route and the estimated travel time (for the exact travel time, always check the traffic information). We strongly recommend that you ask passengers for a reservation, as this is the only way you will be able to receive ride ratings, which our analysis shows have an enormous impact on attracting new passengers.
Both drivers and passengers will be able to preview the estimated route.
Passengers, you will now also be able to find a ride without any additional communication. If a ride has been added with a precise location, you will be able to join the driver without any additional communication. Let me note that we strongly recommend making reservations through the app, as this is the only way you will be able to stay in touch after the ride in case of forgotten items, rate the drivers, and ensure additional traceability with the drivers. Below is a preview of the app for a ride with a stop, where the searched route was Ljubljana -> Novo Mesto.
Given the very concept that is being modernized, using prevoz.org is recommended and easier via mobile devices Android and Apple iOS, where we offer apps that have more features than the prevoz.org website. The new version is expected to be available at the end of June 2026.
